Rachel Kurzyp

Website design & development

Working together with Rachel Kurzyp, Coach, Speaker & Writer, we gave her existing branding a refresh and rebuilt the website to showcase her new direction. Working with Divi, we designed her landing page and sales pages embellished with hand-drawn illustrations and bright new colours to help her attract her dreamy clients. Alongside her brand new website, we designed her Freebie to encourage clients to opt-in to her mailing list and incorporated Divi Overlays to link up to her Mailing lists. The new look and feel website is full of colour, texture and hand-drawn icons to help give Rachels visual identity more depth.

The problem & Solution:

Rachels original site lacked personality and didn't feel like her anymore. Rachel wanted a brand + website that could build trust, credibility etc. with her potential clients. Her old website didn't allow her to do that e.g. contact form was basic and couldn't be tailored to the individual's needs.

Rachel was worried that she wouldn't walk away with a brand that felt like her and was original. All the little details you added e.g. hand-drawn icons etc. have taken her brand to the next level.  Rachel came away from the process of feeling like a legit biz owner. We created a WordPress website for her coaching business that allows her to regularly blog, setup branded sales pages, hold her podcast and show notes and my personal favourite, her detailed contact form. The contact form is full of conditional logic, allowing Rachel to get the most amount of information possible from leads, to ensure she can provide them the best service when she replies.

Kate was so easy to work with and weren't precious about your designs or work. I know it's stereotypical, but most designers I know take things really personally. You always took my ideas and suggestions on board and took the time to explain to me why you were doing something etc. I felt like I was a part of the process.

Everyone's talking about my website + brand. I know it sounds weird, but I feel like my visual brand finally matches where I'm at in biz. I'm not just another biz owner, I'm ready to stand out and be heard. My new website will help me do this. I think people are going to want to work with me so they can have a strong brand + be seen as an expert too.

Branding is more than colours and a logo; it's the way people feel, think and act after interacting with you. This is why it's so important that your visual brand and brand assets (e.g. your website) match who you are and what your business represents. Kate took the time to get to know me and understand my business before she began working on the project. This made all the difference; I felt like I was a part of the process and Kate took the time to listen to my suggestions and concerns. I was worried that I would end up with a generic brand that didn't feel like me and a website that did the job but wasn't anything special. I was silly to worry because Kate exceeded my expectations. Not only does my new brand and website look amazing, I feel like she has been able to capture my personality and the way I want people to feel when interacting with my business. Kate has also made my website an enjoyable part of the customer journey; clients are able to find the information they need and engage with me in different ways. I now feel confident to send people to my website and I know it will help my business become more profitable.
